This page explains how Scrabboard Solver processes data in the Android and iOS application, followed by the website’s terms of use.
Local processing on your device
Letter recognition and the calculation of playable words and scores run locally on your device.
Automatic image and diagnostic uploads
The application may automatically send error logs to the developer’s server or, when recognition was difficult, the image you provided to it. These uploads help analyse errors and improve recognition.
HTTPS transmission
These uploads use HTTPS. They contain only error logs or, when recognition was difficult, the image you provided to the application.
These transmissions are encrypted in transit.
AdMob advertising and privacy choices
The application displays ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your device, settings and consent, Google may collect advertising identifiers, IP addresses, ad interactions and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention.
Where required, a consent message lets you choose your advertising preferences. You can change your choices through the application’s privacy options and manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions in your device settings.
Retention and deletion
Error logs and images sent to the developer’s server for error analysis and recognition improvements are kept for one month, then deleted. This retention period applies to these server uploads; data processed by Google AdMob is subject to Google’s own retention policy.
